The SouthWest Open (SWOT) Sudden Death Slam is a high-stakes, single-point tournament format planned for the 2026 SouthWest Open (July 19 – August 1). Drawing inspiration from the "1 Point Slam" model, the SWOT Sudden Death Slam is an "all-or-nothing" competitive experience designed for maximum drama.
Matches consist of exactly one point. The winner advances; the loser is eliminated. Accessibility: It allows amateurs to compete in a high-pressure environment that mirrors the professional tour.
Rock, Paper, Scissors determines who serves. Tactical Choice: The server gets to choose which side of the court (Deuce or Ad) they want to serve to.
Ranked players receive only one serve. Amateur participants are allowed the traditional two serves.
Positioned under our slogan "Where Legends Play: Love for the Game", the "win-or-go-home" nature makes it an ideal spectator event with a festival-like atmosphere.
